After earning a Bachelor of Music Ed degree from NMSU and a Master of Music (performance emphasis) from UTEP I began my teaching career with the Socorro ISD in 1986.

After retiring from public school teaching I became the general music teacher and band aide for St. Raphael School in 2025. My performance credits include the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, the El Paso Opera, Ballet El Paso, El Paso ProMusica, the UTEP Dinner Theatre, and the 9:30 St. Raphael choir.

When not teaching or making music I enjoy spending time with my family and crafting.
